OpenNMS Group will be participating in a session at TM Forum’s Catalyst Digital Showcase, along with partners Tech Mahindra and Cortex, on Thursday, July 30, 14:00-14:30, CEST.
Presented by the TM Forum, a global industry association, catalysts are rapid-fire proof-of-concept projects that bring together large and small companies to create innovative solutions to common challenges, leveraging key TM Forum best practices and standards.
The session will demonstrate the use of automation and orchestration technologies to transform communications service providers’ (CSP) business operations from being based on legacy API integrations to being based on TM Forum Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) API specifications, with a specific focus on the service problem management interactions between two CSPs.
OpenNMS has joined with Cortex and Tech Mahindra to demonstrate service provider integration using the TM Forum Service Problem Management API. As an open source project, OpenNMS has provided a flexible architecture to prototype solutions and explore NaaS use cases. Dr. Craig Gallen will explain how OpenNMS has been used in the first phase of the catalyst and the proposed next steps towards a second phase in October.
